Mission & Vision
Grounded In Truth and Tradition
The mission of Augustine School is to offer an education to the glory of God that is Biblically-based, Gospel-centered, and Classically-informed. Everything we offer in the classroom and within our school community is informed by an approach that is grounded in Scripture, centered on the Gospel, and informed by the rich heritage of the Western classical tradition.
Perhaps the best way to describe the guiding vision of Augustine School is that we believe our school exists to train students for the glory of God through a curriculum and culture that instills a passion for truth, goodness, and beauty in our students. The goal is to help form wise and virtuous young men and women that are learning to submit all things to the universal Lordship of Christ.
We believe the best way to experience our vision and see our mission in action is to see our campus and student body. We also offer opportunities to connect with our broader school community throughout the year including Open House, Campus Visits, Race Day, our annual Spring Event, monthly Mommy & Me, and more. "For every one pupil who needs to be guarded from a weak excess of sensibility there are three who need to be awakened from the slumber of cold vulgarity. The task of the modern educator is not to cut down jungles but to irrigate deserts." - C. S. Lewis
Augustine School teaches students to grow in their understanding and love of the Bible as Holy Scripture, with the ultimate aim of relating all things in life to the Person and work of Jesus Christ.
At Augustine School, we strive to teach students to see and submit all knowledge to the universal Lordship of Christ and His Gospel.
Our classical model of education provides students a foundation for success in the world by helping them develop a lifelong love of learning.
